A classically-trained violinist, and a songwriting troubadour, Wolfskill & The Wild are a Midwest-grown, Iowan native folk-duo, delivering an authentic and bold musical fusion. Blending alternative folk, contemporary strings, and experimental ambiancethat pays homage to their Driftless Area roots.
Trailblazing their own path, Wolfskill & The Wild has performed on stage in support of acts including: Son Little, The Ballroom Thieves, The Arcadian Wild, & Chicago Farmer.

Maddie & I met at a quaint coffee shop below where I lived. (Our story is like an upgraded hallmark movie). She was a barista there and on the days when I would order "Expresso" she would correct me and we would talk about music, and life.
Over time we bonded through music and began writing together. WE both hid our feelings from each other until one night while writing we both realized how each other felt. Later, Maddie asked me if I wanted to be her boyfriend. The rest is history"
Our sound originated from authentic friendship and our deep love of music. It has transforms constantly based on our emotions and interpretations of the environments around us. Often times our writing is inspired from our love, our struggles (as authentic & transparent as we can be), the state of the world, or just a damn good story that hits you in the feels.
Our live performances try to emulate an environment that fosters love, and compassion. We expose the vulnerability within all of us. By showcasing our love, our struggles, and our spunk. It's our mission to bring a room of strangers together, and bond through the power of music - creating a space for belonging, acceptance, love, and being present - leaving listeners refreshed and recharged.
